What to Expect During Your Visit

At the Texas Liver Institute, we strive to make each visit informative, helpful, friendly and comfortable. Our office staff, Advanced Practice Providers and physicians will work with you to learn your needs, answer your questions and get to the bottom of your hepatology issues.

Your hepatologist will get to know you and review your symptoms, then evaluate your needs and determine next steps. Where appropriate, the Texas Liver Institute will collaborate with your Primary Care physician to customize our approach to your care.

When visiting the Texas Liver Institute, you’ll spend much of your time speaking with our Advanced Practice Providers — friendly, informed healthcare professionals working hand-in-hand with your physician to design treatments appropriate for you.

When you visit the Texas Liver Institute, you’ll be greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who will work with your individual needs and healthcare goals.
Here’s a look at some of the team members you’ll meet:

We’ll go over the risks, benefits and alternatives of your proposed treatment plan or procedure. You’ll be given an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your needs with the physician.

Advanced Practice Providers
